After a gala performance at UFC 276, Volkanovski wants to be named on the list of best fighters of all time

Deserved trust. After shipping Max Holloway in a featherweight trilogy (up to 65,7kg.) held at UFC 276, Alexander Volkanovsky believes he has taken an important step in his career in MMA. With a new belt defense and absolute in his category, the athlete admitted that he would like to have his name included in discussions about the 'best fighters of all time'.

“It's not up to me, but you would be stupid not to include me in the discussion. See what I've been doing, my resume. We are doing well, impressive. (…) You may be a great figure, but what I have done is incredible”, said Volkanovski, at a press conference.

Last weekend, Alexander had his third match against Holloway. After winning on the first two occasions in battles marked by balance, the Australian had a dominant performance and left no room for doubt in the final fight.

With the victory over Max, Volkanovski reached the mark of four title defenses. In addition to the achievement, the Australian extended his undefeated streak to 22 matches.
