Dana White does not rule out a possible rematch between Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira

Still with an undefined scenario for its future, the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg) could see a rematch in its next title fight. In an interview with 'TSN', UFC president Dana White praised the first fight between Glover Teixeira e Jiri Prochazka and did not rule out the possibility of a new confrontation.

"I do not know, let's see. But yes, it makes sense. It was amazing. Incredible fight. I literally watched it in a van that night and was freaking out during the fight. It was incredible and it absolutely makes sense to see this fight again, but let's see what happens,” said Dana.

Glover Teixeira e Jiri Prochazka starred in the UFC 275, on June 11th. In a duel valid for the light heavyweight belt, the Czech surprised with an incredible comeback with just 28 seconds left in the fight. The challenger took advantage of the then champion's inattention and, after a beautiful transition, managed a rear-naked choke that made the Brazilian give up. The show took place in Singapore (SIN).

the card of UFC 275 also had the defense of the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) from Valentina Shevchenko compared to the Brazilian Taila Santos. Surprising the world, the Brazilian athlete had a great duel and was defeated in a tight split decision by the judges.
