Bisping approves possible duel between Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson: 'it makes sense for both'

The next step of Conor McGregor in the UFC is still unknown. On his official YouTube channel, Michael Bisping defended “El Cucuy” as the ideal next opponent for Conor McGregor.

“For McGregor, with all due respect, he needs a fight he can win. And with all due respect to Tony Ferguson, I think this is a good fight for that. Tony receives blows. I've said this multiple times, so I don't want to sound repetitive, but Tony absorbs damage. That’s why I think this style is taking a toll,” argued the Brit.

Bisping, continued, pointing out the fact that so much Tony Ferguson, how much Conor McGregor, being favorite fighters among MMA fans to defend the fight.

“It makes sense for both. The two have been having difficulties lately. They are two big names in the lightweight division. They are both old choice names. They are two fan favorites, fighters that people like to turn on the television to watch. So if you ask me, I say it makes a lot of sense Tony Ferguson 'El Cucuy' faces 'Notório'”, he concluded.
