Durinho fulfills his promise and rewards Yanez for knocking out a fighter who offended Brazilians

Besides the performance bonus of the night, the knockout over Tony Kelley No. ufc austin, last Saturday (18), yielded the Adrian Yanez plus a sum of money. As promised before the fight, the bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg) was financially rewarded by Gilbert “Durinho” for his victory over Kelley, author of recent prejudiced comments against Brazilians.

After the fight, Durinho took to social media to congratulate Adrian Yanez for the result and ask the bantamweight to send an invoice to receive the promised reward.

"My man Adrian Yanez representing Brazil. Send me your Zelle or another app to receive the money! Congratulations!!”, wrote Durinho.

Then, the Brazilian welterweight (up to 77 kg) asked his followers to help him convince Yanez to receive the money.

“Come on, guys! Convince Adrian Yanez to accept the money, because he doesn't want it! It’s been a struggle”, asked the Brazilian.

Lastly, Adrian Yanez gave in and accepted the gift. Through a post on a social network, the North American thanked the Gilbert Durinho and promised to spend the money on his son.

"Thank you very much Gilbert Durinho. I will definitely spend this money on my son!! Thank you so much,” wrote Yanez.

Adrian Yanez brutally knocked out Tony Kelley in the first round of the duel held in ufc austin, last Saturday (18). With the victory, the bantamweight remains undefeated in the UFC, with five consecutive victories.
