During the press conference after the event, Josh Emmett He stated that he believed he had won four of the five rounds of the duel and confessed that he was worried while reading the judges' sheets.

“I thought they were going to screw me. I think I won four rounds to one, at least three rounds to two. When I saw that it was decided, I thought: what is it? But in the end everything worked out for me,” said Emmett.

Despite believing he won four of the five rounds, Josh Emmett tore praises to Calvin kattar after the duel, highlighting mainly the rival's ability to absorb blows.
