Fighter who offended Brazilians is massacred at UFC Austin and loses with brutal knockout in the first round

The 'fish dies in the mouth'. Such a phrase can easily be associated with Tony Kelley. Responsible for criticizing the Brazilian population in May, when he participated in his partner’s corner Andrea Lee, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.) paid the price hard. In the confrontation that opened the main card of the ufc austin, this Saturday (18), Adrian Yanez he avenged the Tupiniquim fans and silenced his rival with a true massacre, ending with a knockout in the first round (click here to see the video of the knockout).

With the victory, Adrian extends the good moment in his career. The new positive result guarantees the athlete's unbeaten record in Ultimate and consolidates him as a promise in the division led by aljamain sterling.

The target of boos from the fans present at the Moody Center, Kelley was yet another victim of Yanes' aggression. Hardly overcome, the athlete had a sequence of two victories interrupted.

The fight

The confrontation began with Kelley taking the initiative with a series of high kicks. Yanez saved his attacks and waited for the best moment to attack. Halfway through the round, Adrian raised the crowd by connecting a cross on his rival. With just over two minutes left in the stage, Yanez rocked Tony with a series of punches. Tony's situation became dramatic. The 'bad boy' suffered from his opponent's attacks. Noticing Kelley's condition, the referee chose to stop the battle.
