In a video published on his official “Youtube” channel, aljamain sterling assured that he did not sign any contract to face TJ Dillashaw and that he believes he deserves to be better rewarded for his services to Ultimate.

“There is no fight until there is ink on paper, and, to date, my contract remains exactly the same. There was no escalation to this fight. I like to think that I did my part, I did the right things and even allowed myself to play the villain in the last fight with Petr yan, helping to build the plot. I did my job, so I'm training and hoping that we can reach some kind of salary increase that normally happens in all contracts”, explained the bantamweight champion.
