the japanese Yushin Okami he spent a short time without a job. After being released by the UFC, the middleweight signed a contract with the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), an organization chaired by fighter Ray Sefo. The announcement was made by the organization this Sunday.
Okami's deal with WSOF is for several fights, with no precise number revealed. The Japanese debut is expected to take place in March 2014.
Former UFC middleweight challenger Thunder, as he is known, was fired from the UFC after his defeat to Ronaldo Jacare, at UFC Fight Night 28, on September 4th, at Mineirinho.
Although the setback against Jacaré was the first after three consecutive victories, the Japanese was released by Ultimate. Franchise president Dana White revealed that Yushin had become just a 'ladder' for the top athletes in the middleweight division.
