Finalist in the latest edition of The Ultimate Fighter, black belt Vinicius “Pezão” Magalhães, in an exclusive interview with the website SUPER FIGHTS, analyzed the main fight of UFC-93, between Dan Henderson vs. Rich Franklin, which will take place tomorrow in Dublin, Ireland.
Pezão, who was responsible for floor training, Dan Henderson in his last fights, he commented on each fighter's chances in the fight.
“I think Dan hits hard, he's a trickster, but Rich has the most refined technique and has an advantage in terms of reach too. Dan could win by knockout, but if it goes to a decision I think Rich will take it”, said the Brazilian who believes that the fight will be defined by striking.
“Although Hendo is a wrestler, he likes to keep the fight standing, as he really believes in the power of his right hand, meaning the fight can be defined by striking. I don't see the possibility of Rich trying to put him down, unless he has Hendo's back against the bars. And Dan would only focus on takedowns if he was taking a huge loss on his feet”, concluded the fighter
