“It's still something I really consider (moving up in weight), but I also have to mention that in July we have an incredible flyweight fight between two very strong fighters: Lauren Murphy e Miesha Tate. Despite expressing the desire to face Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko did not rule out the possibility of trying for the bantamweight title against the winner of the rematch between Julianna Pena, current champion, and Amanda nunes, against whom she has already been defeated on two occasions.

“Another option is Julianna or Amanda in the bantamweight division. If this is confirmed, when I get closer to finalizing the agreement, I will start working on making my body a little heavier, but just a little so as not to lose speed. I have many options, just choose”, he concluded.
