Standing still since the defeat to Fabricio Werdum at TUF Brasil 2 Finale, last June, and still recovering from injury, Rodrigo Minotauro He already knows when he wants to return to the octagon. In an interview given to SUPER FIGHTS During UFC Fight Night 29, this Wednesday (09), in Barueri (SP), Minotauro stated that he is already planning his return for February next year.
“I want to be ready, I want to do my best and I want to fight in Brazil. There's an event in February that I'm looking at. I don't know exactly where it's located, but it will be in Brazil. I’m excited to fight and I hope to be called up”, said the athlete. The event that Minotauro refers to is the second edition of the UFC in the city of Jaraguá do Sul (SC), scheduled for February 8, 2014.
Regarding his possible opponent when he returns to the Octagon, Minotauro revealed that he has no preference for any opponent. “There’s nothing in mind for now. I always make myself available when I'm well, 100%. Choosing an opponent has never been difficult for me, because I'm a guy who will fight anyone, if they put me up to fight tops category or rising athletes”, he concluded.
