The welterweight debut was better than expected for Rousimar Toquinho. The Brazilian needed just 31 seconds to land a heel hook on Mike Pierce, but even with the victory, he got his ear pulled. The athlete from Minas Gerais would score the best finish of the night, but due to unsportsmanlike conduct, for not releasing the hit, he ended up losing the prize of US$50, around R$110.
This isn't the first time Toquinho has been picked on by the UFC. In edition number 111, in March 2011, the black belt also didn't let Tomasz Drwal down. As a result, he was suspended and fined by the organization.
The one who took the bonus was South Korean Dong Hyun Kim with his spectacular knockout against Erick silva. The best fight of the night went to the bantamweights Raphael Assunção e TJ Dillashaw, who fought a balanced duel won by the Brazilian.
