Joanna Jedrzejczyk is excited about the possibility of fighting for the belt in case of victory over Weili Zhang No. UFC 275, an event that takes place next Saturday (11). The former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg.), who is in the final stretch of preparation, revealed that Dana White's guarantee for a fight against Carla esparza for the winner of the fight, it served as an additional incentive in the rematch against the Chinese.

“I'm not surprised. I knew that. I wouldn't sign an agreement for this fight if I didn't know it would be next (for the belt) if I won. So yes, I knew that. I'm not surprised. It is good. I feel like we both deserve it. She (Weili Zhang) proved that she is one of the best, one of the toughest in the category”, said Joanna in an interview on 'half day'.
Without playing since March 2020, Jedrzejczyk believes that an opportunity for the title is fair. She also says that she always wants to be involved in big fights, especially because of everything she has built in the sport.
“I know there's a lot of talk about other girls who should fight for the title, but we showed up. Me, Weili, Rose (Namajunas), we always fight a lot, you know? And that's what this business is all about. It’s not about boring fights, it’s not just about fights, it’s about being the best every time you go in there,” she concluded.
If you can get past Zhang, Joanna Jedrzejczyk would have another rematch in his career. In March 2015, the Polish woman overcame the current champion Carla esparza with a knockout in the second round to win the UFC strawweight belt. She, however, is in a wavering phase, with just two wins in her last five fights.
