Boxing legend Mike Tyson advises Conor McGregor to focus on 'accessible' fighting

With the Irishman injured since July 2021, the 'Iron' suggested that he face 'low level' opponents in order to regain his confidence in the octagon

Away from the octagon for almost a year, Conor McGregor He already sees possible opponents to face in his return to Ultimate. However, according to the boxing legend Mike Tyson, the Irishman shouldn't think about a title fight now, but rather about having an 'accessible' fight to regain his confidence. The statement was made in participation in the 'Fight Card' podcast.

Former featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion, Conor has been out of action since the serious injury he suffered in front of Dustin poirier, in July 2021. Considered one of the biggest names in the history of Ultimate, the Irishman is not in a good phase in his career. The 'Notório' was defeated in three of his last four fights and now has 22 triumphs and six setbacks in his record in the sport.
