After finishing second in TUF Brasil 2, William “Patolino” Macário will make his official Ultimate debut on December 28, at UFC 168. Patolino is the fifth Brazilian athlete confirmed on the card, which features a rematch between Anderson Silva e Chris Weidman as the main fight. The information was first released by the “PVT” website.
William Patolino, aged 22, has a record of six wins and just one defeat, precisely against Leo Santos in the decision of TUF Brasil 2. To reach the final of the reality show, Patolino, who was part of the Rodrigo Minotauro, won Thiago Marreta, Thiago Alves and Viscardi Andrade.
The Brazilian's opponent, the experienced Bobby Voelker, has a record of 24 wins and ten losses. The 34-year-old American lost the two fights he had in Ultimate since coming from the now-defunct Strikeforce. In his debut, Voelker was beaten by Patrick Côté, via unanimous decision, and was later knocked out by Robbie Lawler, in July of this year.
