Ronaldo Jacare is having a great time inside the Octagon. After moving from Strkeforce to the UFC in 2013, the black belt has already accumulated two big victories and is ranked third in the middleweight division rankings. Still without a defined opponent, the Brazilian is in no rush to compete for the category belt.
“I'm well positioned in my category, I don't know how many fights it will take until I reach the level of fighting for the belt, I may have to do two or three more fights, I don't want to run things over. I have been working hard to achieve my goals within the event”, said the fighter, who has already openly declared that he would not like to face Anderson Silva, his training partner, in a possible fight for the belt.
Jacaré also revealed that he could face him in his next engagement in the Octagon, probably in 2014. “The possibility of facing the winner of the fight between Michael Bisping (Bisping suffered an injury and was replaced by Lyoto Machida)x Mark Munoz, I particularly liked the idea, but I think that’s up to the UFC, I’ll be prepared for the challenge they offer me”, he concluded.

There's no point in stalling for the fight to happen sooner or later, it will happen even if today they say it won't, but no one is going to work hard in the gym all their lives, doing difficult fights to be SECOND in the rankings. Whoever competes wants to be first, the coaches should follow suit. from Greg Jackson, since he knows the vices and virtues of both, stay away from specific training and let the best win
