On the rise in the UFC, Jailton Malhadinho debuted on the right foot in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg.) with an impressive victory after extensive dominance over Peter Porter in the UFC Las Vegas 55. I think this news will be sad for some, but I liked the idea of fighting in the heavyweight division! I felt much stronger in this division. Andrei Arlovski, we have scores to settle! You unfairly beat my brother Carlos Boi and now I'm going to collect this bill. You are a former world champion and are on a beautiful streak of 6 wins in 7 fights. Furthermore, he has always faced anyone in his career and I'm sure it won't be now that he refuses the first one. (…) All the UFC has to do is set the place and date and I’m ready”, wrote Malhadinho in his ‘Instagram' official.

Coming from the 'Contender Series', Jaílton has already had two fights in the organization and won both in the first round. On his debut, he hit Danilo Marques and then surpassed parker porter with a finish. At 30 years old, the Tupiniquim athlete has a record of 16 positive results and two negative results in the sport.

Former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg), Arlovski is one of the biggest names in the history of the division and is still active. Out of the rankings, the Belarusian achieved his fourth consecutive victory – the sixth in seven fights – against Jake collier, in April. The veteran now has a history of 34 positive results and 20 negative results, in addition to two 'no result' fights.
