Brazil has a new representative in the UFC's women's bantamweight division. Paraíba’s Bethe “Pitbull” Correia agreed with Ultimate and will be the third Brazilian athlete in the largest MMA organization in the world. She joins Amanda nunes and Jessica Andrade.
The news was revealed by Wallid Ismail, the athlete's manager, during the "Ring Transamérica" program on Transamérica radio. Bethe, 30 years old, is undefeated in MMA with six wins on a streak. In her last performance Pitbull beat Erica Paes, the only woman to beat the fellow Brazilian Chris Cyborg.
Bethe still doesn't have a set date or opponent for her Octagon debut.
