“Another one to put on our board. It's ours, family. So cool. It's little things that make us emotional. This award is not just mine, but that of (my) team that has been doing this work for years. And being recognized is great. I'm too happy. It's another award from us, which I'm going to put on my shelf at home. It's just gratitude. Thank you Jesus, the team and everyone who voted and made me win this award. Too happy”, celebrated Do Bronx.

In the fight in question, Charles and Chandler fought for the vacant belt, which had been vacated by Khabib Nurmagomedov – who retired. The Brazilian started at a disadvantage, suffered a knockdown and almost ended up being knocked out, but he managed to overcome himself and knocked him out, with a left, at the beginning of the second round.

“We made a war. Very happy with what we were able to propose for the fight. I started well and ended up making a mistake with the timing of going backwards. He ended up connecting with a tough hand, but it just shows the spirit of our team and family of not giving up and believing. I was looking for the big dream and we managed to turn things around and managed to get a knockout. I was very happy to take this belt”, he concluded.
