Something that was definitely not lacking in the world of MMA in May were beautiful knockouts. It was up to the team at SUPER FIGHTS prepare a list with the most plastic and brutal outcomes of the fifth month of 2022.
The mission was not easy, but in the end those selected were Michael chandler e Chidi Njōkuani, by UFC, and Maki Pitolo, for Eagle FC.

Opening the list is Maki Pitolo, who, at Eagle FC 47, brutally knocked out Doug Usher in just 30 seconds of fighting. More remarkable than the knockout itself was what happened after the interruption. When trying to get up, still bewildered, Usher “sumbled” into the hexagon and fell for the second time before announcing his retirement from MMA.

Chidi Njokuani vs Dusko Todorovic – UFC Las Vegas 55

After impressing with a lightning knockout in his Ultimate debut in February, Chidi Njōkuani showed that he can be a fixture on the lists of best knockouts. At the UFC Las Vegas 55, the American “turned off the lights” of Dusko Tudorovic with a brutal elbow in the first round.

If to occupy the other places on the podium it was necessary to “break your head”, choosing the best knockout of the month was one of the easiest missions. The position could not be occupied by anyone other than Michael chandler, which “obliterated” Tony Ferguson with one of the most brutal front kicks in the history of Ultimate in UFC 274.
