Brazilian John Lineker is having an excellent moment in the UFC. Coming from three victories in a row, the man from Paraná wants to defeat Phil Harris at UFC Fight Night 30, an event that takes place on October 26th, in Manchester, to compete for the belt in the organization's flyweight division.

The 'Stone Hand', as he is known, promises to punish his rival inside his home. “He will suffer in the octagon, I'm training a lot and I know I can't falter so close to my goal, which is the belt. I’m going to be 100% for this fight, I’m going to look for an excellent result and get into the title fight,” he said.

If the primary objective is victory, the focus is always on the flyweight belt, but with caution. The current champion Demetrious Johnson will face Joseph Benavidez in the main fight of the TUF 18 Finale, in Las Vegas, USA, on November 30th.

“The belt is the objective, of course, but I try not to think about it too much. I'm going in search of a good fight and a victory over Phil Harris, and I'll leave it up to the UFC to decide when I'll have my opportunity”, says Lineker.
