Bellator President responds to Khabib and admits negotiating fight between Júnior Cigano and Fedor Emelianenko

Bellator President Scott Coker responded to the proposed Khabib Nurmagomedov for a 'crossover event' with Eagle FC. The agent admitted negotiating a possible confrontation between his star, Fedor Emelianenko e junior gypsy, new hire at the Russian event. The promise to meet was made via 'Twitter'.

“Thanks for the suggestion, Khabib. I look forward to meeting with you next week. Dinner is on you,” Coker wrote.

Nurmagomedov's attack came on the eve of the debut of junior gypsy at Eagle FC. This Friday (20), the former UFC champion faces yorgan de castro, another former Ultimate representative.

Willing to promote the name of his organization, Khabib welcomes a crossover event involving two heavyweight icons. When making the proposal, the Russian did not hide his admiration for the legendary Fedor Emelianenko.

“I'm a big fan of Fedor and I truly believe he's the best fighter of all time,” said Nurmagomedov, at an Eagle FC 47 promotional event.

MMA icon, Emelianenko is now 45 years old. The Russian has not performed since October 2021, when he knocked out Tim Johnson in Bellator 269.
