Brasil Fight took an important step towards its consolidation on the national scene. Used to holding events in capital cities, the show lands at the Arena Poliesportiva de Divinópolis, 120 km from BH, for its seventh edition. In the main fight of the night, Bellator athlete Thiago Michel faces American Ken Jackson.
Present in the last edition of Brasil Fight, when he knocked out David Gardner, Thiago Michel records 10 of his 11 victories on his record by knockout. Known as "Anderson Silva Mineiro”, he competes internationally in the Bellator cage and is riding high on three straight victories in Brasil Fight. On the other hand, the Brazilian will have an opponent on a clear international rise. Ken Jackson, an athlete from Cristiano Marcello's CM System, has won his last three fights and is a very dangerous fighter.
“We managed to put together a clash of styles in the main event of Brasil Fight 7. Thiago is a natural striker, while Jackson attacks his opponents' legs well and takes them down with ease. It will be a great fight to crown the biggest MMA event ever held in the interior of Minas”, guarantees Rodrigo Moreira, organizer of the event.

Brasil Fight will be the first MMA event in the country to promote fights simultaneously with an educational project of social inclusion through sport. Specialists in the recovery of drug addicts are already working on using sport as a way to combat drugs. The Brasil Fight social project has support from the Government of the State of Minas Gerais and the Legislative Assembly of the State of Minas Gerais. “We don’t fight drugs with phrases written on the Octagon. We have developed a real social project that will bring recovered fighters to the ring”, highlights Moreira.
