Then, Nurmagomedov also made a point of placing them as two of the biggest names in the history of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg). The president stated that sports fans deserve to see the duel happen.
"Why not? These two fighters were the face of MMA. Fedor is the greatest fighter of all time, in my opinion. And Dos Santos was UFC champion for a few years. These two guys deserve it and so do the fans. It’s a very interesting confrontation,” he concluded.

Cigano, on the other hand, has a negative streak of four consecutive knockouts and has not performed since December 2020, but returns to mixed martial arts at the Khabib Nurmagomedov. He has a history of 21 positive results and nine negative results.
