The matter between Tony Ferguson e Daniel Cormier doesn't seem to be resolved. On your channel on 'YouTube', the former fighter responded to the recent comments of 'El Cucuy after accusation of cheating to make weight. Former light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) and heavyweight (up to 120,2kg.) champion, 'DC' suggested that his compatriot think about a career break and talked about controversy in the past.

“I did an interview with him for my YouTube channel and we were talking about our heroes, wrestling and everything. The interview began and he talked about Khabib Nurmagomedov. As it was happening, I suggested that he leave Khabib in the past, as it is a confrontation he has never had, but he threatened to leave the interview and, now, he started to provoke me. (…) It's kind of crazy, the guy needs to take a break and rest and recover. He’s traveling,” Cormier said.
Still according to 'DC', Ferguson needs to worry about recovering from the tough knockout suffered against Michael chandler, UFC 274. The 'Bicho Papão' blacked out after a front kick and revealed that he had lost his memory at the moment of the fight.
“Why are you worried about me? Michael chandler kicked you in the face, bro! There are three things: 'DC', 'RC' (Ryan Clark, American football player), and sometimes there is an 'MC' (Chandler). Worry about 'MC!' I am not. I’m retired and I’m a heavyweight,” he concluded.
In April 2017, during the main fight of UFC 210, Cormier tried to defend his light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg.) against Anthony Johnson, but he had difficulty making the weight and, now, he has once again been accused of leaning on towels to make the weight.
