The battle between Jon Jones e Alexander Gustafson at UFC 165, an event held last Saturday (21), in Toronto, left a mark on the athletes. The Ontario Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned the show, announced the medical suspensions and both Jones and Gustafsson are out for 60 days.
According to the report, after the hook they will have to submit an MRI of the skull to ensure that there is no type of trauma. In addition, the champion must also send an x-ray of the head to the regulatory body.
Among the Brazilians, Renée Forte was the only one to catch a hook. The Ceará native, who was knocked out by John makdessi on the show, he was suspended for 30 days. Already Wilson reis, Michel Tractor and Renan Barao, who won their fights at the event, received a 14-day preventative suspension.
