Caio Monstro faces Nick Ring in December, in Australia

Caio is the third Brazilian to appear on the UFC Fight Night 33 card

This Sunday (22), the Ultimate organization announced that Brazilian Caio “Monstro” Magalhães will face Canadian Nick Ring at UFC Fight Night 33, on December 6. Caio is the third Brazilian to be on the card for the event, which takes place in Australia.

Gaius Monster, 25 years old, has a record of six wins and one loss. The Ceará native is coming off a victory over Karlos Vemola, at the TUF Brasil 2 Finale, in June. Previously, in his Ultimate debut, Caio lost to Buddy Roberts in 2012.

His opponent, the experienced Nick Ring, 34, has a record of 13 wins and two losses. Ring is coming off a loss to Chris Camozzi at UFC 158 in March. In Ultimate, the Canadian has three wins and two losses.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 6, in Brisbane (Australia). In the main fight of the night, Antônio “Pezão” Silva faces the New Zealander Mark Hunt. In the evening's co-main event, Mauritius Shogun stares at James Te Huna.
