“A very stressful month. A golden opportunity to fight the number one in the world (at flyweight). After 25 days, an injury occurs: 'complete rupture of the biceps tendon'. Physiotherapy three times a day to try to 'get it going'. (…) 25 days without training our strength, which is the floor. We arrived in Las Vegas not knowing if we could handle grappling or fighting on the ground. We did this fight”, wrote Marcelo.

From the corner, the father followed Ribas, showing good moments in the confrontation with Chookagian. Proud, the coach did not fail to praise his daughter, who, after three rounds of battle, ended up being defeated in the judges' decision.

"Amanda ribas did what she loves to do, and gave her heart. Even though she was in a lot of pain, she overcame herself and put on a beautiful fight. What we love came, regardless of the result. The best fight of the night. The pain will pass, but the honor and memory are eternal. (…) Thank you to the fans and friends for the love. Soon, Amanda will be back. Who knows, maybe in our second home, in Abu Dhabi, in October. Our little warrior girl will be back, even stronger”, she concluded.
