The fight began with a frank exchange of blows. In the first few seconds, Rakic opened a cut on Blachowicz's eye. In the third round, Blachowicz attacked in search of making up the difference from the previous round. Rakic retreated, but in the defensive movement he ended up twisting his knee. He already fell in the octagon asking the referee to end the dispute.
