Amanda ribas came out defeated in the fight against Katlyn chookagian in a split decision, on the main card of the UFC Las Vegas 54, event held last Saturday (14). However, despite the setback, the Brazilian took home US$50 (around R$253, at current prices) for a 'Fight of the Night' bonus.

In a balanced duel, Amanda felt the difference in her wingspan and lost to Chookagian on points. It is worth mentioning, however, that the Brazilian had moved up to the flyweights (up to 56,7kg.) with an eye on a possible chance for the belt, which belongs to Valentina Shevchenko.
Rookie of the night, Manuel Torres seems, in fact, to have impressed the 'bosses' in the clash against Frank Camacho with a brutal knockout in the first round. The Mexican, therefore, also earned US$50, but for 'Performance of the Night' and, as a bonus, achieved his 13th victory in his career.
Just like Torres, Ryan spann managed to take the 'jackpot' by submission against Ion cutelaba. The North American had a balanced duel in terms of striking, but took advantage of an opening from his standing opponent to adjust a choke and win again in Ultimate.
