“When we talk, it's a beautiful thing, because it's an opportunity for me and I'm loving it. Many people may see it as extra pressure, but I think it's an extra incentive. A boost for me to be able to do what I do in the octagon. I think about the belt every minute. I think that's what makes this opportunity so great. I'm so happy the UFC offered me, because if they did it's because they believed in me. I believe in myself and that is the main key”, said Ribas.

The Brazilian athlete did not hide her enthusiasm with the opportunity that Ultimate gave her and believes that, in case of a victory, she will be very close to a title fight in the category for the legend Valentina Shevchenko.

“I even get goosebumps. Life is very crazy. She was in the other category and ranking. Every step I took was a thrill and now I'm fighting a person from another category who is better ranked than mine. I'm closer to fighting for the belt in the top category than in mine. Something I only expected later on. That’s what’s making me so motivated”, concluded Amanda.
