The new defeat of Mauritius Shogun in Ultimate did not shake Dana White's respect for the Brazilian legend. In a press conference after the UFC 274, held this Saturday (7), the president of Ultimate avoided criticizing the Curitiba native for his stumble against Ovince St.Preux. The agent admitted that he will allow the veteran to fulfill his contract and have a 'farewell fight'.

“Shogun is a legend, not only here, but in the sport. At Pride, UFC. It's not like you step into the octagon and say: 'this guy can't compete anymore'. He has one more fight on his contract. I’m going to give him this fight, let him make this money and leave the sport the way he wants,” assured White.
