This Tuesday (18), the Ultimate organization announced the duel of top-10 of the heavyweight division Travis Browne and Josh Barnett for UFC 168, the last event on their calendar of the year. The athletes occupy fifth and sixth position, respectively, in the division rankings and could move closer to a future title fight if they win.
Hawaiian Travis Browne has won two consecutive victories, the last of which was over alistair overeem, and has a record of 15 wins, one loss and one draw. Veteran Josh Barnett, holder of the heavyweight belt in 2002, made his UFC debut with a victory over Frank mir, on August 31st. “The Warmaster”, as he is known, has a record of 33 wins and six losses as a professional.
UFC 168 takes place on December 28th, at the “MGM Grand Garden Arena”, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main event of the night, in a fight valid for the middleweight belt, Anderson Silva meet your tormentor again Chris Weidman in one of the most anticipated rematches in Ultimate history. In the co-main match, the TUF 18 coaches Ronda Rousey e Miesha Tate face each other for the women's bantamweight title.
