It took a while, but finally Anthony Pettis debuted in the PFL. After suffering two defeats last season, Showtime returned to the 2022 stage with a different behavior. On Friday night (06), the former UFC champion put on a great fight and submitted Irishman Myles Price with a beautiful triangle choke in the first round.
As soon as the fight started, Price tried to get a takedown, but Pettis did well and punished his rival on the ground before starting to strike the Irishman. On top, Showtime defended the reversal attempts until Myles tried to get on top. Pettis, however, landed a tight triangle and forced his rival to give up.

Before the submission, Price tried to take down, but was left empty and suffered several blows from Pettis.
