PFL star, Kayla Harrison makes her season debut this Friday, at an event with a Brazilian squad

Biggest name in the organization, North American seeks third championship; show has five Brazilian representatives

The big moment has arrived. Biggest name in the PFL, Kayla harrison will make its first performance of 2022 this Friday (6). Two-time champion of the lightweight tournament (up to 70,3 kg.), the North American will seek the 'tri' and, to do so, she will need to get past Marina Mokhnatkina, the athlete's initial challenge of the year. The show features five Brazilian representatives and marks the beginning of the company's regular season in the lightweight, women's, and welterweight (up to 77kg) men's divisions.

Considered one of the best fighters in recent MMA history, Kayla will move up the ladder to expand her legacy in the organization. The fighter wants to extend her unbeaten record and promote the maintenance of her name in the sport.

Still in the second half of the event, Larissa pacheco tries to reach the unprecedented final in the lightweight championship. To debut on the right foot, the fighter will need to overcome Zamzagul Fayzallanova.

Harrison vs. Mokhnatkina

After creating controversy and renewing her contract with the PFL, while her name was discussed in companies like UFC and Bellator, Kayla is prepared to further elevate her name in the company. To advance and get closer to the 'knockout' stage, the American will have to defeat a former Bellator representative.

An athlete for the organization chaired by Scott Coker between 2019 and 2021, Mokhnatkina wants to make the PFL's bet count. The fighter debuted in the company in August last season, when she beat Claudia Zamora on points.

With each performance, Harrison has shown herself to be a complete athlete. Two-time Olympic champion in judo, the North American has also done well when it comes to 'striking'. The challenger, on the other hand, stands out in sambo, and, in six professional MMA triumphs, she has achieved four submissions.
