Close to completing one year since the serious injury suffered by Conor McGregor, UFC president Dana White tried to calm the feelings of fans and the press about the Irishman's return. In an interview with the website of the British newspaper 'The Sun', the president stated that he is not yet thinking about the rival of 'Notório''s return and said that he will only look into the matter when the former champion is 100% and cleared by doctors.

“I have nothing for him right now, he’s not ready. The scenario may change during the summer (in the United States). When he is ready to fight and the doctor clears him 100%, then we will start analyzing possible opponents. We are looking at early fall if all goes well. If his leg heals well and he gets the release to actually start training, he should fight in the fall (between September and November),” said Dana.
