Jacaré moves up to third in the UFC middleweight rankings

After knocking out Yushin Okami at UFC Fight Night 28, in Belo Horizonte, the black belt is second only to Anderson and Belfort

even though Anderson Silva asked for the middleweight belt to Chris Weidman, Brazil dominates the top positions in the UFC category rankings. In addition to Spider, who will rematch for the title in December, and Vitor belfort, the black belt Ronaldo Jacare also joined his compatriots.

After knocking out Yushin Okami, last Wednesday (04), at UFC Fight Night 28, Jacaré rose to third place in the category ranking, behind only Anderson Silva (1th) and Vitor belfort (2º).

Another important change in the UFC rankings after the event in Belo Horizonte took place in the flyweight division. Jussier formiga, which was won by Joseph Benavidez, lost fifth place and was overtaken by compatriot John Linker. Now, Formiga is sixth in the division that has Demetrious Johnson as champion.
