Since Glover Teixeira won Ryan bader at UFC Fight Night 28 and secured himself as the next challenger for the light heavyweight belt, projections of a possible fight between the Brazilian and the current champion Jon Jones were inevitable – although the American already has another title defense scheduled. Even Jones himself put Glover on his agenda and, through his Twitter, compared him to Quinton “Rampage”Jackson.

"I think that he (Glover Teixeira) It is like Rampage, but with a grapple (grappling) better”, wrote “Bones” on his profile on the microblogging network. However, soon after, the champion tried to say that it doesn't bother him. “I don't care if people think I'm going to lose just because they come at me with something logical”, he said.

PUBLICITY:

before thinking about Glover Teixeira, Jon Jones has a big challenge ahead. The youngest champion in Ultimate history puts the light heavyweight belt on the line against the Swede Alexander Gustafson on September 21st, in the main fight of UFC 165. The event takes place at the “Air Canada Centre”, in Montreal, Canada.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
