The news of the renewal of the Kayla harrison with the PFL was a cold shower for those hoping for a duel between the North American and Chris Cyborg. The duel, however, is not yet completely ruled out. At least that's what PFL CEO Peter Murray guarantees.

During his participation in “MMA Hour”, a podcast on the North American website “MMAFighting”, Murray assured that he is interested in holding a duel between Harrison and Cyborg in an event in conjunction with Bellator.
“We are defenders of this. We talked and Kayla wants this fight. We believe that Cris also wants this fight. If we can make it happen between the two organizations, PFL and Bellator, as a joint event, what we are open to doing, let’s talk and see if we can take it forward”, assured Murray.
President of Bellator, Scott Coker has never spoken directly about a possible agreement with the PFL, despite having, on several occasions, shown interest in doing the same with the UFC. However, even if Bellator doesn't go through with the idea, Pete Murray believes that Kayla harrison go find competition of your level in the PFL decagon.
“Harrison and Cyborg is a compelling fight, but there are other fights for Kayla. This season will be the toughest for her in our format and, in the long term, we will have some opportunities to have big fights with Kayla on pay-per-view”, concluded the CEO.
Chris Cyborg defends the Bellator featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) against Arlene Blencowe in the 279th edition of the event, this Saturday (23). Kayla harrison, in turn, debuts in the new PFL season on May 6, against Marina Mokhnatkina.
