The climate between Patrick Pitbull e A. J. McKee is hot for the rematch for the featherweight title (up to 65,7kg.), which takes place at Bellator 277 this Friday (15). In an interview with the 'Trocação Franca' podcast, the Brazilian criticized the North American's behavior in expressing interest in competing in the UFC, while 'wearing' the belt in Scott Coker's company.

“I believe he asked for more money than could be offered. Maybe he turned down an offer from Bellator and asked for more, even though his purse isn't low. He was kind of flirting with the UFC in the media – and to me, that's very unethical. He's exclusive, he's under contract, he's the Bellator champion. Bellator pays him a lot more than the UFC would, that's for sure. I know the numbers”, said Patrício.
The rematch marks the first defense of the featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg) by A. J. McKee. The North American became champion by finishing Patrick Pitbull in the final of the featherweight tournament, in Bellator 263, in July last year. McKee's victory came via guillotine in less than two minutes of fighting.
