Ildemar Marajó tries for his third UFC victory against former TUF 16 Igor Araujo
Ildemar Marajó from Pará already knows who and when his next UFC commitment will be against. The welterweight will face compatriot Igor Araujo at UFC No Combate 4, in the city of Barueri. According to the MMA Pará website, Ildemar signed the contract for the fight this Tuesday afternoon. The UFC has not yet made the fight official.
Former middleweight, the bantamweight brother Iuri Marajó debuted on UFC Sao Paulo in January, submitting Wagner Caldeirão as light heavyweight. He then dropped two categories and beat Leandro Buscapé in the Fortaleza edition, in June.
TUF 16 participant, Igor Araujo has not yet made his official UFC debut. On the reality show, he was the penultimate choice of Shane carwin and debuted by beating Nic Herron-Webb, but succumbed in the quarter-finals to Colton Smith, who ended up champion of the edition. After the program, Araujo beat Herron-Webb again, this time at an event in California, United States.
UFC No Combate 4 is scheduled for October 9th and will be headlined by two welterweight clashes: Demian Maia magpie Jake Shields e Erick silva measures forces with Dong Hyun Kim.
