Before measuring strength in the Octagon this Saturday (9), the main stars of the UFC 273 will be answered by questions from fans and the press. This Thursday (7), direct from Jacksonville (USA), Ultimate broadcasts the press conference that will feature the participation of Gilbert Durinho, Khamzat Shimaev, in addition to the protagonists of the two title fights at the event, Alexander Volkanovsky, Korean zombie, aljamain sterling e Petr yan. The event is scheduled to start at 18pm (Brasília time).

Featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) since 2019, Alexander Volkanovsky could reach the milestone of three belt defenses this weekend. To achieve the feat, the Australian will need to overcome the dangerous 'Korean zombie'.

The co-main fight could make history in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg). The confrontation represents the long-awaited rematch between the group's linear champion, aljamain sterling, and the interim, Petr yan. In 2021, the Russian ended up losing the throne after being disqualified for an illegal coup against the American.

For many, the third-to-last fight of the event is the most anticipated. Number two in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.), Gilbert Durinho accepted the challenge and will face the company's protégé, Khamzat Shimaev. The athletes face each other with an eye on a title fight in the group led by Kamaru Usman.

Brazil will have two more representatives, in addition to Durinho. On the main card, Mackenzie dern will measure forces with Tecia torres. In the fight that opens the event, Daniel Willycat company debut against Julio Maple.
