Created and nurtured in the first duel, the rivalry between Petr yan e aljamain sterling is heading towards its peak, in the UFC 273. On the 'media day' of the show next Saturday (09), the interim bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) criticized the behavior of the linear belt owner and said that there will be no trilogy if he wins the long-awaited rematch.

In conflict with the North American since the controversial outcome of the first duel, Yan said that he does not intend to take the duel personally, but he did not hide his desire to beat the linear champion and took the opportunity to drop a slight 'nip'.
“I can't say it's personal, but it's very important for me to beat him and show who he really is. In the history of the UFC, there is no one who has won a belt this way, but he still thinks he is a champion. It's an absurd." concluded the Russian.
After much controversy and provocation, Yan and Sterling will finally have the opportunity to resolve their differences. The duel will headline the UFC 273, which will be held at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, in Jacksonville, Florida (USA).
