UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), Julianna Pena mocked Kayla harrison following the former judoka's decision to sign a new multi-year contract with the PFL. In an interview with 'The MMA Hour', the executioner of Amanda nunes stated that the North American opted for the easy way out and will continue competing with inferior athletes.

It's very easy to say, 'I'm going to beat Julianna with one arm tied behind my back' and then sign a years-long contract with the PFL the next day. It's easy to talk shit when you know nothing's going to happen. So, it's my opinion. She just signed her life away to the PFL. Good luck with that. Build your career outside (the UFC), beating 'tomato cans' (an expression to define lower levels of competition),” said Peña.

The champion was involved in constant provocations with Harrison, shortly after dethroning the legacy of Amanda nunes and become bantamweight champion in Ultimate. The judoka even said that she would easily beat Julianna, but chose to renew her contract with the PFL.

Peña, in turn, must have a rematch against Amanda nunes in its next presentation, which is scheduled to take place in the middle of the year, with no set date yet. The two athletes were coaches at 'The Ultimate Fighter 30'.
