The idea, however, was not well received by Anthony Smith. Contracted by the UFC, the veteran believes that the YouTuber would not have enough time to dedicate to the transition and, therefore, would not even be competitive in a possible fight against 'Notório'.

"Jake Paul He's a big guy and measures my size. He is over 90 kg. and, fighting Conor in a boxing match, that would be a pretty good fight, to be honest. But would he knock him out in an MMA fight? Certainly not. No (it would be competitive) when Conor has the alternative of kicking and can take Jake's head off. People say that Jake knows wrestling and, therefore, could make the fight more competitive. But not. In an MMA fight, he would become barbecue,” said Smith in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.

Phenomenon on the internet, Jake Paul decided to venture into boxing and remains undefeated in five fights. He even knocked out Tyron woodley and Ben Askren, renowned former UFC athletes. Conor McGregor, in turn, is recovering from a fracture suffered against Dustin poirier and has only one experience in the 'noble art', when he lost to Floyd Mayweather.
