Brazilian measures forces against 'Reug Reug', on April 22; he has two wins in MMA

Multi-time jiu-jitsu champion, Marcus Buchecha is negotiating a new date to return to MMA. The Brazilian, who started his career with two victories, is expected to face Oumar Kane, known as 'Reug Reug', on the ONE Championship card scheduled to take place on April 22. The information was released by 'MMA fighting'.

Known as one of the most decorated athletes in the history of the 'gentle art', Buchecha has impressed since making his transition to martial arts. At 32 years old, the Brazilian managed to score two victories, against Anderson Braddock and Kang Ji Won, both in the first round, by submission. The fights, combined, lasted less than five minutes.

'Reug Reug' also competed in grappling, but is based on Senegalese wrestling – known as Laamb. The athlete has a record of three positive results and one negative, in addition to having lost to Kirill Grishenko in his last appearance, which took place in April 2021.

The duel is scheduled to take place in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg), in an event that features fights for kickboxing and muay-thai world titles.
