Executioner of Jorge masvidal e Colby covington inside the octagon, Kamaru Usman spoke out about the fight between the athletes in a restaurant in Miami (USA). Days after the episode, which resulted in the arrest of 'Jesus das Ruas' and an injury to 'Caos' tooth, the Ultimate champion condemned the actions. In his account Instagram, the Nigerian vented about the controversy.

“I think they are both wrong. You can't do and say whatever you want just because you want to promote something. I feel this is very wrong. But you, too, being an elite athlete, one of the best in the world, cannot attack someone on the streets,” said Usman.
Leader in the men's UFC weight-for-pound rankings, Kamaru has already shared the octagon with both Masvidal and Covington, on two occasions. In meetings with the athletes, the Nigerian emerged victorious and retained the Ultimate welterweight (up to 77kg) belt.
Confessed enemies, Jorge and Colby were the protagonists of the UFC 272. Former best friends, the athletes agreed to resolve differences in MMA rules.
After provocation from both sides and promises of massacre, the incitements were not carried out. Covington and Masvidal had a tepid 25-minute clash. After five rounds, Colby, who dominated with his wrestling for much of the fight, was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
After the triumph, the former interim welterweight champion did not spare his former teammate from provocations. The attacks ended up irritating Masvidal, who went to meet his rival in a restaurant in Miami and started the whole mess.
