On the rise in heavyweight, Curtis Blaydes gives his opinion on the future of champion Francis Ngannou

The number four in the division stated that the Cameroonian should realize his dream of boxing and said that he would be successful in the noble art

One of the main fighters in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), Curtis blaydes also gave his opinion on the future of the champion Francis Ngannou. The North American was sincere when he stated that the 'Predator' should think about the financial side and make his dream of boxing come true. The statement was made in an interview with 'MMA Fighting'.

“If I’m him, I’ll box. They make a lot of money and he would make a lot of money against (Anthony) Joshua or Tyson (Fury) or Deontay (Wilder). He would be rich. So if I'm him, I'd let my knee heal and get ready to box,” Blaydes said.

Contrary to much of the press specializing in martial arts, Curtis believes that Ngannou can be successful in the noble art, if he is released from Ultimate.

“Based on the best boxers in the heavyweight division I’ve watched, I think he does well. I think he has the range. We know he has the explosiveness and the athleticism. With these gloves, he may not have the same impact, but I think he can beat any of these guys”, concluded the heavyweight.

Francis Ngannou He is going through a difficult time in his career. Even though he still holds the belt in MMA's most noble category, the Cameroonian suffered a serious injury and is only expected to return to the octagon at the end of 2022. Furthermore, the 'Predator' is in an intense contractual dispute with the organization and has already declared that he will not return to fight for the company if there is no change in your salary.
