After knocking out Daukaus, Curtis Blaydes says he has no doubt he will be UFC heavyweight champion

Fourth placed in the division's rankings, the 31-year-old American has six wins in his last seven fights in the Ultimate Octagon

Last Saturday (26), in the main fight of ufc columbus, Curtis blaydes proved that he is more than just a good wrestler and knocked out Chris Daukas in the second round. At 31 years old, the heavyweight believes he is on the path to achieving his goal of becoming Ultimate heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg).

In a press conference held after the event, Blaydes assured that he has no doubt that one day he will own the division's belt. The heavyweight assured that, precisely because he has no doubts, he is also in no rush to achieve his objective.

Fourth place in the heavyweight rankings, Curtis blaydes comes from two consecutive victories and now has six victories in his last seven fights in the Ultimate Octagon. In the 15 times he stepped into the octagon, the American was only defeated by the current champion Francis Ngannou (twice) and Derrick Lewis, responsible for his latest setback in February 2021.
