Jon Jones has a meeting in Hollywood and could be another UFC member in the movies

After Randy Couture, Anderson Silva, Georges St Pierre e Ronda Rousey, the next UFC fighter to make his film debut could be the current number one in the organization's weight-for-pound rankings Jon Jones. The light heavyweight champion confirmed to the website “MMA Junkie” that he had some meetings in Hollywood recently and that he wants to act on the big screen soon.

“These meetings were great. I realize they see some character in me and with the right training I could be in a few films in the future. As an artist, I think acting is one of the highest levels you can reach, and right now, I'm doing very well in my field, which is the world of martial arts. Expanding a little and 'getting my feet wet' (trying something for the first time, in free translation) there and maybe preparing myself for a career after this, I think it's all part of the plan”, said the fighter.

Jones also talked about another athlete, but from pro wrestling (mixture of fighting and performing arts, known as telecatch in Brazil), which serves as inspiration for the new occupation. “I would like to model my acting career on Dwayne Johnson (known as “The Rock”), the way he left the WWE and started with 'tough guy' roles and then went on to films like 'The Tooth Fairy'. The confrontation is the main fight of UFC 165, which takes place at Air Canada Center, in Toronto, Canada.
